Alira Health Partners with MedTech Innovator to Help Accelerate Startup Growth

Alira Health is pleased to partner with MedTech Innovator on their joint mission to improve the lives of patients by accelerating the growth of companies that are transforming the healthcare system.

MedTech Innovator is a nonprofit global competition and accelerator for medical device, digital health, and diagnostic companies, bringing together leading players from across the ecosystem. In their tenth year, MedTech Innovator is by far the largest accelerator of medical devices in the world. They provide best-in-class start-ups access to a virtual accelerator and to support members developing innovative and transformational medical technologies – holding events, competitions, and showcases at major conferences around the country and the world every year.

This partnership with Alira Health plays a key role in providing corporate expertise, thought leadership, application reviewers, pitch event judges, and accelerator mentors.

Suzy Engwall, VP, Business Development, RedCrow of Alira Health, will be a judge at MedTech Innovator’s West Coast Pitch Event, first event of the MedTech Innovator Road Tour. The Road Tour is a series of pitch events, running from March to May, held on the East and West Coasts of the U.S., virtually, and in Dublin, Ireland. Each event features outstanding medical device, diagnostic, or digital health companies selected from this year’s pool of over 1,000 applications. Approximately 20% of applicants are invited to present to and receive feedback from MedTech Innovator partners from across the healthcare ecosystem, including Alira Health. 50 successful start-up companies advance to the MedTech Innovator Showcase, where they receive coaching and visibility at two major industry conferences. 25 companies are then chosen to participate in a four-month accelerator program, culminating in a live final pitch at the MedTech Conference to select the grand prize-winning company.
