Fredrik Nyberg Welcomed as Partner and Regional Head

BOSTON, USA – Alira Health, a leading international healthcare and life sciences advisory firm, is pleased to announce their continued expansion in the Asia Pacific MedTech community with the addition of Fredrik Nyberg as Partner and Regional Head at Alira Health.

We are thrilled to welcome Fredrik to the team and to lead client engagements and the expansion of Alira Health’s full suite of services in the region from regulatory and clinical affairs, market access/HEOR to strategy consulting and transaction advisory. Fredrik will continue to be based in Singapore.

An industry veteran with 30 years of healthcare experience, Fredrik is well known in the medtech ecosystem having worked extensively with large healthcare multinationals, local medical technology startups, regulators, governments, and other key stakeholders across the region. He served as the founder CEO of Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed), the region’s only trade association for the medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics industry, growing it in short order to over 120-member organization. Fredrik is currently the Managing Director Asia Pacific at MedTech Innovator, a leading global non-profit medical technology accelerator, serving the startup community consistent with Alira Health’s commitment and aim to mentor and grow startups in the region.

Fredrik also serves as Board Member and advisor to several healthcare startup ventures, and until recently was a member of the Steering Committee of Singapore-Stanford Biodesign. He serves on the Evaluation Panel of the National Health Innovation Centre Singapore (NHIC) and on the APCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council. Fredrik is a frequent speaker on the healthcare industry in Asia-Pacific. He holds a BSc from Gothenburg University, Sweden, and an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.
