Akash Nayak Karopadi

Akash Karopadi holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan, along with an MSc (Hons) in Economics and a BE (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India.
He brings over a decade of expertise in dialysis, renal replacement therapy, and heart failure, with prior roles as a dialysis center operations expert, healthcare economics researcher, and international business development manager for an innovative biopharmaceutical manufacturer. His work has supported projects across Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa, combining deep clinical and commercial insight.
At Alira Health, Akash has led strategic engagements in Pharma, Medtech, Nuclear Medicine, and Infection Control, with a particular emphasis on renal care and advanced heart failure solutions.
He has co-authored 30+ scientific publications in nephrology and health economics, serves as a reviewer for journals such as Peritoneal Dialysis International and Frontiers in Nephrology, and his research has been cited more than 1,300 times.
