We are pleased to share that we will be joining as speakers MDIC Annual Patient Forum 2022 — a key platform for the discussion of how to transform patient engagement throughout the total product lifecycle.

Our Patient Engagement experts will join the panel “Patient Engagement in Clinical Trials and Early Development” at 9:15 – 10:00 am EST.

In this panel, Patient Engagement Think Tank members will focus on patient engagement within clinical trials and early development for MedTech including discussions on individual experiences, barriers associated with suboptimized patient engagement, and benefits of its systemization as a strategic imperative.

Annabel de Maria

Vice President, Patient Engagement, Alira Health Annabel has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, both as an in-house executive and freelance consultant. Prior to joining Alira Health, she was Head of Corporate Communications at Almirall and Head of Media Relations Europe at Nestlé Purina. As a consultant, her work focused on global strategy for Champix, Lucentis, and Pradaxa. Annabel’s early career included the Spanish launches of Celebrex, Detrusitol, and Xalatan, with later positions at Pfizer, Bayer, and Novartis Spain.

Bill Schulz

Consultant, Management Consulting, Alira Health In Alira Health, Bill leads and executes projects for MedTech and Pharma companies, including commercial and vendor due diligence, corporate strategy, go-to-market strategy, market and growth opportunity assessment, and mergers and acquisitions.

Bill has strong experience in device and therapeutic areas including infusion therapy and management, patient monitoring, in vitro diagnostics, drug delivery systems, infection prevention, cell & gene therapy, surgical robotics, and medical device and biopharma contract manufacturing.
