About Panel Session, “The Power of Patient Voices & Developing Patient Reported Outcomes”

This panel centers on the lived experience of patients with chronic wounds to inform the development and meaningful use of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in clinical trial design and real-world evaluation. Bringing together patients, clinicians, FDA representatives, and industry leadership, the discussion explores how patient priorities can be systematically translated into credible, actionable endpoints that strengthen regulatory decision-making and improve the real-world relevance of clinical evidence with FDA, CMS, and commercial payers.

Gabriele Brambilla
Chief Executive Officer and Chair, Wound Care Center of Excellence
Gabriele Brambilla, MBA, is the CEO and co-founder of Alira Health. As Chair of the Alira Health Wound Care Center of Excellence, he pioneers data-driven, multidisciplinary solutions that address critical challenges. His vision shapes Alira Health’s integrated approach, advancing therapies and technologies for transformative impact in the wound care sector.
Gabriele is also a leading advocate for the local and global growth of life sciences. In 2018, he co-founded the MetroWest Life Sciences Network, a nonprofit regional collaboration of healthcare and life science-based organizations, and as the network’s current chairman, Gabriele fosters collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship in this critical life sciences ecosystem. In conjunction with this, he sits on the Board of Directors of MassMedic, EnlightenVue, WoundForce, Firefly Innovations, X-Cor Therapeutics, Computational Life and Oncoheroes.
Gabriele holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Pavia, a master’s degree in International Affairs from the I.S.P.I., and an MBA from Post Graduate SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
